Jim's Thoughts
I think this will be the first "small festival"-like Wheatstalk. Getting it out of summer is key to having an event that isn't competing with 5-10 other larger musical events that Alaskan musicians are more likely to attend. This will be the first one in the new place. Grand dreams of building a small outdoor stage in the "gravel pit" where one or two Talkeetna Bluegrass festivals were once held. Still going to be very intimate, very small and very personal - and perhaps not well attended by out-of-state folks because of conflicts with school etc.
But there it is. As we get closer, I'll update this page for realsies.
