Bunnies in your yard sbfort? Cub Driver

Yeah, they are pretty cool. We are worried because Mom is not around. After a little research, we found out that Mom only comes around in the early AM to take care of them. We'll keep an eye on them to make sure all is good!
I crossed trails with a mamma moose and a calf a couple of days ago. The cow was feeding along the trail, the calf following her. Long story short, she crossed the trail not more than 10 feet from me and continued on her way. Wonderful experience to hold hands with nature. (This response shows how to use colons to create hanging indents for items related to the same thread.) You're doing well sbfort; you'll be an expert in no time. Image:Smile.gif I'm guessing you have some sort of background in computers? Cub Driver
Actually, my background is in cars. But, they have become more complex and it takes someone who understands computers to figure out what is going on when there is a problem. I've played with computers for a long, long time. But, it has never been my profession. Hopefully, after hanging around here and reading the resources, I should be able to figure this out.
Two questions though since you seem willing. Is there a way to have my edits automatically signed with my name? Also, I noticed that most of the edits contain a timestamp. How is that accomplished? I'm sure it has been addressed on the site somewhere, but it is late here and past my bedtime...
Hi, sbfort. Those little bunnies are so cute! To sign your name type 3 tildes (~), or 4 to sign your name with the timestamp. Denali (talk) 05:51, June 1, 2008 (AKDT)
Thanks, Denali! When I was looking for how to do that, it was way late here and I was just lazy. I stayed up too late playing with the new toy (to me) that is WWR. Since then, I've been able to come across lots of great info here. Thanks again! I'll jump in more soon! Also, I set up a nickname now. But, I am not sure I like it because my username shows up in some places and the nick in others. I'll think about it and make a decision soon.
And, yes, the bunnies are very cute. Unfortunately, it looks like their eyes will be open soon so they will be ready to venture out into the real world. My 10 year-old daughter is begging me to keep one of them. She just doesn't understand nature and wild animals. This should be a good lesson for her. mojo (talk) 13:45, June 1, 2008 (AKDT)

Thank you all! Still stumbling around with arms outstretched - like getting up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. But, I will get it. Might ask some questions for guidance (Honey, why did you close the bathroom door?) but I will get it eventually. Thanks!!! sbfort

I have run into the door in the dark a few times sbfort. After a few rough landings I learned to get up, explore more, and walk more slowly. You'll do well. Cub Driver

A good place to start... How to help Cub Driver
Thank you. I've been trying to poke around the site and have learned a few things. Looks like I should be able to get the hang of it over time. mojo (talk) 12:01, May 31, 2008 (AKDT)

Bunnies

Great bunny photos! Fun to watch them grow! Jim (talk) 14:59, June 1, 2008 (AKDT)

Yeah, but it will be a sad day when they leave the nest! mojo (talk) 17:29, June 1, 2008 (AKDT)
Hi Mojo, welcome to WWR. Great bunny pictures. Don't be too sad when they leave the nest, I'm sure you will have another brood in short order. My finches that are nesting on my patio had their first babies leave the nest two days ago and this morning they have started another brood of eggs....in 2 days! Not to worry about the lack of bunnies, me thinks. Image:Lol.gif ReWoven (talk) 18:29, June 1, 2008 (AKDT)
