And now for totally fun news: Whole Wheat Listener and my guy "Colorado Allen" was running sound at the city's basketball game, this time for "The Coasters" intermission show.

Colorado Allen was playing a local band's CD to test the stage system earlier that afternoon, realized the people controlling the main center system were using the CD feed - even though they could override it and play their music. So he put on our band, Violet Edge! The song "Jade" played to 500-700 early arrivals at Arena as they began the fill the seats. He said they were bopping their heads to the music. I met Allen

Robin and I both met Allen today in Talkeetna. Wonderful guy! I wish I could have spent more time with him, but I was busy helping Jimbob and Esther "engineer" their new place.
