Teacher Openings

Bug!

I can't believe you uploaded the bug gif! I just saw that for the first time ever a few days ago ... and thought it was a live bug crawling on the screen. I swear I tried to swish it away with my hand for about 20 seconds before I realized it wasn't on the screen! I saved the gif to upload someday --- and you just did it. Categorizing Photos

I've been categorizing my photos (thanks to sparkit's fine example) and thought maybe it would be useful for you as well. Especially as a way to keep track of your festival/artist photos. All you do is edit the photo and put the category. For example: [[Category:LuAnna's festival photos]]

artist galleries

I was at Merlefest when the changes in artists page format happenedm and I just wanted to grab those galleries and put them in one place so that if it became desirable to use them again, they would be handy. If not that page can be easily deleted. I know that they would still be on the histories but I didn't trust myself to be able to find (remember) them all. I can lose stuff in cyber space as easily as I can in real life. This seemed like the easy thing to do. hope you don' mind. LuAnna (talk) 22:29, May 3, 2008 (AKDT)

That's great LuAnna. Those galleries are definitely a highlight of the artist pages and I want to encourage rather than discourage them. My conversion program didn't recognize them - sorry. But I would like to manually use the HISTORY option to suck them up and put them back in the artists' pages under "Listener Comments". I don't think we have enough to justify a section on every artist's page for them - although I'll bet with all your concerts you'd have a bunch of 'em!

Anyway, yes, your gallery page idea is superb. Because once you're done, either you or I or someone else can quickly grab those galleries and put them on the artists' pages. Thanks.
