A joy to your ears, a pick-me-up to your heart, Esther Golton replaces the common guitar with a Mountain Dulcimer. A flute that sings fluidly instead of banging brass, and a voice that lilts with laughter as she sings canyon crossing divides of jazz to da' blues with original lyrics that poetically provokes anger into laughter, sadness into haunting beauty, and cynicism into hope. Song you must hear

Hi - there is a Artists:Joel Mabus song called Songs:Hopelessly Midwestern that you have to hear. Just putting it on this page so we don't forget. You will love it. Jimbob 14:25, February 7, 2008 (AKST)

Welcome home!

Esther, glad you're back safe and sound, seems you had a great time. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next for you. Happy spring! (Almost.) Mert 06:30, March 14, 2008 (AKDT)

Thank you, Esther

Thank you, Esther, for interviewing Jim yesterday. I've been thinking it's time for just such an interview. Right now I'm sad for Jim and the position he finds himself in. Somewhat helpless, too, I guess... LOL... I supposed it's somewhat self-centered to think I could fix things with people.

How's about an Esther update - or have I missed a "rant" with the latest on Esther?

Listener List

Esther, I'll try to figure out why the listener list isn't working tonight when I get back to a computer. I checked a few things and couldn't find anything obvious why it wasn't updating. I also didn't see anything that might make me think this is the tip of an iceberg problem.

I think the processing happens on the server end, not the Talkeetna end, but I could be completely wrong. Anyway, since the music seems to be working fine, I don't think we should bother Jim with it. Talk soon, Ken DogNut (talk) 11:28, May 24, 2008 (AKDT)

I didn't fix it, so it must have been Jim. He didn't log into the webserver, so if he fixed it, it would have been on the Talkeetna side. Whatever happened, I'm glad it's working again. Ken DogNut (talk) 11:52, May 25, 2008 (AKDT)
