Hi to all Wheaties new and old!
I am replacing my information here because of so many new wheatheads.
For all of those who don't know I lost most of my sight in the jungle, in 1969
After spending a few years feeling sorry for myself i went to college studied journalism (before laptop/desktops). Was one of the first testers to use computer aids. Believe me we've come a long way baby.
I am a ghost writer by profession. Have written stories, autobiography's, plays, lyrics, poems, even a speech. Now I mostly write content for the internet. Love to research.
Also I play sax in the "The old guys stage and dance band".
I love to hike. My friend and self professed hermit Jeff strings me on a line behind him, and warns me seconds before I step in holes Image:Lol.gif My favorite hike in up to a clearing at nearly 12000 feet, where 2000 year old bristle cone pines grow. I love to touch them and regain perspective on life.
I was born just south of Fairbanks and left as a teenager when my dad was transferred. Went back in 2006 with a friend upon my return I was doing a search of Talkeetna and found WWR. Been hooked every since.
Enough about me tell me your story, maybe I'll make it into a book.
For those not following my news, I was in a bad car wreck and am rehabilitating, hope to be back hiking next summer Image:Smile.gif

Rehab is going well, if I could keep my dogs from underfoot. Going to have a bunch of old (I mean Old) friends in this labor day weekend. I stocked food they are bringing everything else. Including a strange variety of musical instruments. Most are staying over so they won't have to drive. Should be a great break. KodiBear (talk/contribs) 13:21, August 29, 2008 (AKDT)

Today's horoscope for Gemini:
Take each hour as it comes today -- let the day unfold as it wants to, and try not to push things in any one direction. Resist the urge to fill up your free time with errands, socializing or shopping trips. Being busy just to be busy is no way to exist right now. It might feel a little weird to have no plans for the day, but this experience will be good for you. If today is already booked, make a note to leave a free day in the near future. It's time for you to let the world happen.
Looks like a 4 wheatberry day for you dear Gemini.
