My WWR identity is an amalgamation of Debbie and Bryan. Even though I share my WWR moniker with my wife, I am the true wheathead in this marriage. Debbie and I have been married for 23 years and we live in Shawnee, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City, with our two children.

I worked in the corporate world for 17 years until I realized it was sucking the life out of me, so I decided to get out before I was completely bitter and cynical. Right now I am only half bitter and about three-fourths cynical - it gives me an edge. As a second career, I am a public school teacher. I teach multi-media computer applications - animation, computer drawing and video game development. I occasionally have WWR on in my classroom (risky - yes but I feel it is my duty to educate them about indie music because they mostly listen to rap!@#!)

I have been a fan of WWR for over several years and have been introduced to some fantastic musicians. I am one of the silent listeners. I chat very little, if at all but I do eavesdrop. I listen to Jim and Esther on the mic and I feel a bit guilty because I know them and some of the wheatheads (or at least feel like I do) a whole lot better than they know me. Hopefully, this page will make up for some of that. I also have a blog at http://www.spiralpocus.com/.

This webcast is probably one of my top ten best things about the internet and I hope Jim and Esther keep it going for years to come.
