From WWR
Twitter is a very basic micro-blogging service that asks users "What are you doing?" in 140 characters or less:- Updates can be posted via the Twitter website, SMS'd from a mobile phone, through instant messaging, or from a tiny third-party application such as Twhirl.
- Once registered, you can send messages to other Twitter users by adding their username with an @ symbol (for example: @chris200).
- You can also subscribe to other people to receive their updates. Aside from keeping up to date with what your friends are doing, you can also receive the latest news from reputable wire services such as Reuters and the BBC!
- It is a huge waste of time, pointless, and terribly addictive.

WWR_News is a Twitter account that is automatically populated every hour with the latest posts from all the Whole Wheat Radio RSS feeds, as well as the current hot posts from Technorati tagged with Whole Wheat Radio from listener blogs.
To subscribe to WWR_News:
- Register for a Twitter account if you haven't done so yet
- Naviate to http://twitter.com/wwr_news
- Click the giant Follow button.
That's it! Now when you go to your Twitter page you'll receive all the latest WWR goings on.
UPDATE: Since this page went live, I've added news feeds from Singapore and Australia. The instant Channel News Asia or the Australian Broadcasting Corporation post stories that contain "Talkeetna", they will be posted on wwr_news. Expect a flurry of new entries.
WWR_News is currently administered by Ruben and is therefore not official. It will be handed over if/when Jim decides he likes Twitter or when he suspects Ruben has been paid off by the RIAA to post updates that question the legitimacy of independent artists.
