Last summer I went on a hike in Black Rock Forest (near Cornwall, NY) with my friend Vince and our sons, aged 3 & 5. Thanks to too late of a start, an out-of-date map and our own general ineptitude, we spent a good portion of the night on the forest floor until we were rescued by an army of good-natured searchers. I played both guitars and my friend Jim Masters played upright bass.
