Listener Console. This is the default "everything" view. You can change the colors and fonts if you like, and you can also simplify the screen by eliminating parts that you don't care to see.

The Listener Console is where all the action is on Whole Wheat Radio. From the console listeners chat, select tunes to play, see Wheathead photos, see what is playing, and more.

The following are seen in the Guest and Default Listener Console skins, but note that what is displayed and the options that are available change often.

Recent Chatters frame

This shows recent visitors. Hover your mouse over the listener icons to see how long ago they were seen in chat. Clicking on a listener icon takes you to their Whole Wheat Radio Webpage.

Logon

At the top: your personality name - if you don't have one it's "Guest" if you do have one, clicking on the box where it says "Guest" will open a drop-down menu listing all of the personalities that exist, scroll up or down to yours, select it by clicking, then click the "Logon" button immediately below your personality name.

the RADIO in Whole Wheat Radio

Alaska #1 Lowspeed connects you to the audio stream, - use this link if you internet connection is dial-up, or if you are having problems maintaining a connection to the high-speed stream

Alaska #2 Highspeed connects you to the same audio, and is best if you have a high-speed internet connection, i.e. dsl, cable or the like

The third link is Problems Listening which has lots of helpful troubleshooting advice if you have clicked the Alaska #1 or #2, made sure your speakers are plugged in and turned on, and you still don't hear anything!

  • Checkbox options for showing less or more information about current listeners

Getting Help For The Listener Console

The quickest, easiest way to get help using the Listener Console, is to post a question in the chat.(Provided Jim is currently allowing Guests to chat) There is almost always someone watching who will be able to help
