Jasper is the informal name of the PHP program(s) that run on the main WWR computer in Talkeetna, Alaska.
Trivia: Back when Jimbob was a corporate geek, his best friend Eugene coined the term Jasper for just about every project and every program he and Jimbob worked on. Whenever the team had a great idea for a new and innovative system, Eugene would shout out "We'll call it Jasper!"
Unfortunately, neither of them ever had time to write the really fun Jasper programs they dreamt about. (Most had to do with artificial intelligence and networking remote computers together in a scheme to both help and control people and the national economy.)
WWR's Jasper is Jimbob's meak attempt to finally bring the project to life. Eugene dreams of the day when he can finally move to Alaska and show Jimbob how it was supposed to be done.
