WWR and email
Email addresses entered in User preferences are never revealed to users, and WWR will never give, or sell, your email address to anyone. Email address added to content of pages are revealed to all users and discouraged because spammers are known to harvest such addresss.
Users can provide an email address in their Preferences.
- This address is used to recover a forgotten password.
- The address is used by the "Email User" feature. When anyone sends you email using the website email feature, your email address is not revealed to that user. The only way they will receive your email address is if you reply to an email sent this way.
Artists' email addresses are not a permanent part of any page and are reveled only temporarily when a page is viewed.
