CoolPlayer is a free minimal audio player for Windows.
The main advantage of CoolPlayer is that it is a single small (570K) executable, with a built-in MP3 decoder. It needs no installation and requires no plugins to play WWR. You could run it off a memory stick.
CoolPlayer doesn't seem to be still under development.
