| 8:25 pm | countrydave (talk/contribs) | On Wednesday the ladies from the social club at work prepared a big turkey dinner. Today they surprised us with a big ham feed at work. | |

| 2:41 pm | Terri (talk/contribs) | Sol! | |
| 2:39 pm | Sol® (talk/contribs) | Man, I never got cookies air dropped to me when I was in scouts. I want to be in Grady's troop. Wait a minute... I'd have to dig a snow cave to sleep for the night... Nevermind. I'll go without the cookies. | |
| 2:27 pm | OldGowl (talk/contribs) | Yup, gotta watch that hot coffee ! | |
| 2:23 pm | Cub Driver (talk/contribs) | We get paper cuts all the time, I've burned my tongue on hot coffee before, and I've been inside two buildings as the roof collapsed. | |
| 2:21 pm | Cub Driver (talk/contribs) | Structual engineers have a tough life too! | |
| 2:18 pm | Terri (talk/contribs) | I work at a station that broadcasts the show. | |
| 2:16 pm | OldGowl (talk/contribs) | I saw that first segment (the crab fishermen). You can watch it online.. just havn't gotten a chance to watch any others.. | |
| 2:13 pm | Terri (talk/contribs) | Been watching a show called "America's Toughest jobs" - the contestants work as crab fishermen, truck drivers (in north Alaska), gold panners, tower workers, bull fighters... | |
| 2:10 pm | OldGowl (talk/contribs) | That happened today I think.. isn't that a man standing right at the edge of the cargo ship where it split in two ? Gheesh.. fisherman and seamen have a tough life ! | |
| 2:07 pm | Cub Driver (talk/contribs) | Incredible photos OldGowl. Hadn't seent hose before. Another reminder that man is not the master of this planet. | |

| 1:53 pm | Cub Driver (talk/contribs) | The scouts made it back OK. They were camped about 50 miles up the Matanuska River last night. Our local grocery bakes up chocolate chip cookies, about 4 inches across and packages them 36 to a box. I bought a box and air-dropped them in last night about dinner time. I guess they had a great trip in spite of the snow and wind. | |
| 1:47 pm | LuAnna (talk/contribs) | She was certainly the oldest one. Next time you are in a bookstore wander back to the children's section. Mo Willems wrote Don' let the Pigeon Drive the Bus and several others about the pigeon. i bought The Pigeon wants a Puppy. I can't explain them... you would have to see one. He is a cartoonist. | |
| 1:33 pm | Terri (talk/contribs) | Lois Lowry, I've heard of. | |

| 1:21 pm | LuAnna (talk/contribs) | Mo Willems, Lois Lowry, Gail Gibbons. Mark Graf, Cynthia DeFelice... Hans Wilhelms was there too. Mo Willems was the lunchwon speaker. he is really funny! | |

| 1:05 pm | Terri (talk/contribs) | Who did you meet? | |
| 1:03 pm | LuAnna (talk/contribs) | Lazy day here also. i went to a literacy festival in Nebraska yesterday. It was very worthwhile. To me it's as much as fun to meet famous authors of children's books as it is to go to concerts. | |

| 11:13 am | Cub Driver (talk/contribs) | You could buy one when you arrive. A word of advice, don't buy one bigger than you can lift when full say 500 times each day. | |
| 11:05 am | Terri (talk/contribs) | Nope, can't say that I do. | |
