| 6:05 pm | | Kazookid (talk/contribs) | Too basic, Bass. There are two kinds of Bass'es and they each belong to different musical instrument families. The Bass Viol, also called the Double Bass and String Bass is in the violin family. The Bass Guitar is of course in the guitar family. There is also an Acoustic Bass Guitar which is called a Guitaronne and is the third instument played in your basic Mariachi Trio, the other two instuments being a standard Classical nylon string guitar and lastly a small bodied guitar with a shorter than standard string length and which is tuned a fifth higher than a regular guitar which is called a Requinto (ree-keen-toe). |
