Resonating deeply with the cares and concerns of the rural landscape, Nathaniel Maloney brings a wealth of experiences to his albums, Nathaniel Maloney (self-titled), Old Empty Farmhouse and Thousand Miles. Gathering his earliest inspirations from his parents, who would sing at church and weddings, he grew up in a home in the rural township of Burton, Ohio.

A multi-talented musician, Nathaniel plays the bass, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, ukulele, harmonica, drums and percussion. He has also played guitar since he was fourteen.

In the spring of 2005 he released his second album Old Empty Farmhouse. Cleveland Scene Magazine writes, “Maloney's rural folk feels like driving through the countryside with the windows down. It's an album so woodsy and rustic, you can damn near hear the crickets chirping.”

Nathaniel is receiving airplay on various Indie radio stations throughout the United States and Europe. His latest release, Thousand Miles, builds on his themes of community and continuity, and is a musically worthy follow-up to his first two albums.

A lifelong fan of folk and acoustic music, Nathaniel Maloney pens his own material and seeks to write songs that people can relate to their own lives. After a small hiatus from music earlier in 2007, Nathaniel has regrouped and brings the best of his talents towards the continuation of his musical odyssey..
