Anny sings in order to connect. To herself, to her audience, and to the world around her. Anny's sound is unique and true to herself. Her lyrics and musical compositions reflect who she is now, and what it took to get here.

Anny grew up in a suburb of Chicago and left the Midwest to attend high school at Philips Andover Academy in Boston. From there she attended college at Harvard University and graduated magna cum laude.

Her parents thrived on the fact that their daughter was smart and talented in her studies. They were convinced, and convinced Anny, that she could become the first female president. During both high school and college, with politics in mind, Anny accepted lengthy internships on Capitol Hill, and in the State Department, and lived in Washington, D.C.

Anny had a life paved for her by her parents, but her heart was not intrigued. Her spirit was filled with art and musical wonder. She wanted to pursue singing, a dream she had had since she was a young girl.

Anny began to dress colorfully, both in terms of her clothing and wearing glitter on her face everyday, letting her artistic side show. After her graduation from Harvard, she followed her heart and moved to Los Angeles to pursue music. Anny started working with several music publishing houses, including Geffen and EMI, as a writer, and then made the decision to write for herself and record her own ablum in 1996. Troubles with her first recording label delayed the project, but in 1999 she began working with producer Craig Snider. Snider has worked on projects by artists such as: Madonna, Gloria Estefan and Mariah Carey. It was he who helped create the scintillating sounds on Anny's first CD, "Strange and Beautiful" followed by a second released cd entitled "Connection."

Determined to break with the past and it's chains of illusions, hurts and habits, and singing from a different more truthful, loving and centered place, Anny is debuting her third album, Naked. Naked includes a variety of remixes that follow a theme of stripping away boundaries and not being afraid or ashamed to reveal your true inner self. "I have finally decided that just being me is enough", said Anny. She would like her audiences to know that she is not scared of expressing the truth anymore. Naked has a new unique sound but remains true to the other two CDs in that it reflects Anny's journey and crossroads in life.

Recently purchasing a home to call her very own, Anny currently resides in Chicago, and supports two organizations that hold a special place in her heart. The first organization, "Start with Art", is a non-profit organization (she is the national spokesperson) that helps bring families together by improving their individual and collective self-esteem, and their communication skills through the arts. The second is CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocate; its mission is to speak on behalf of the best interests of abused and neglected children, who are involved in the juvenile courts. Anny thinks that in the future, she will try to incorporate her CASA experiences into her lyrics and music..
