"Nipples to the Wind" is the soundtrack CD to the stage play by the same name. Kacey Jones contributed 15 of the 19 tracks on this disc. Additionally, singer-songwriters Tracy James and Deborah Liv Johnson both contributed two tracks to this collection.
Kacey Jones has been adopted and embraced by everyone from The Sweet Potato Queens, to the Red Hats, to Garrison Keillor and 'A Prairie Home Companion.' Now, with her first foray into the world of LIVE theatre, Kacey joins forces with "Nipples to the Wind," a salty stage production born out of an old Southern expression meaning "chin up, chest out," also defined as "put on your big-girl panties and deal with it!" This hilarious two-woman play introduces the audience to fourteen quirky characters indlucing a narcissistic suicide hotline operator, an overzealous Little League mom, and three sisters who go to confession, each telling their own version of the same bizarre event. Written by stand-up performer and playwright, Paula Coco, "Nipples to the Wind" is a refreshing departure from comedy club punch lines, and instead features intelligently funny character monologues, segued with the equally intelligent and funny songs of Kacey Jones...a potent combination that wins over both males and female audiences.
